Cozy
The owner of this lovely north Baltimore home loved the site, views and the yard, but was frustrated with the home’s chopped up spaces and lack of natural light, particularly in the kitchen.
The solution was a “mini-addition,” a new box bay that did not distract from the stately exterior, yet opened up the kitchen to the view and light. On the interior, several poorly placed walls were removed.
The resulting space is now an open, bright yet cozy kitchen and mudroom.
